The venomous Asian hornet, sometimes called the yellow-legged hornet, Latin name vespa velutina, is slightly smaller than the European hornet. Queens are typically 30 mm, males 24 mm and workers around 20 mm. It has a velvety brown or black thorax, brown abdomen and highly distinctive yellow legs. The head is black with a yellow face.

Following the purchase of Bristol-based Good Riddance Pest Control at the end of 2018, Cleankill is pleased to announce it has now completed the acquisition of Pest Control Bucks and Bird Control Sussex. Both purchases follow the retirement of the current owners: Gerard and Joanne Ashcroft at Pest Control Bucks and John Butler at Bird Control Sussex.
Croydon-based Cleankill completed the purchase of Good Riddance Pest Control on 30th November 2018.Founded in 2002 by Howard Taffs, Good Riddance Pest Control provides commercial and domestic pest control services in and around Bristol, Bath and Weston-Super-Mare.Mr Taffs approached Cleankill when he decided to retire.
